money

i shall postpone the 'abuse of most' thing, because i think it's always good to have a topic to talk about in reserve, in case i run out of things to talk about one day (yes di bei le, once a week). it's like saving money. you don't need to (and probably will not) spend it, but the more the merrier. and it makes me happy.

right, since we're on the issue of money, and the new year's coming, i shall share something that i've been doing the past 2 years. and then you can see how easily satisfied i am. or how weird i am. or both.

one fine day a few years ago, i was desperately in need of money. to buy extra assessment papers to mug. no la. but anyway, i looked around the house for money and i chanced upon some ang paos, and i opened them. and there was money! i can't remember how much exactly there was, but it was over 20 bucks, enough to buy me enough papers to move up a grade. and i was very very happy. after that incident, i decided that from all the money i received during chinese new year, i would set aside about 40 dollars for my desperate-for-money secret fund. i would put the money in separate ang paos and basically hide them all over my room. one in my drawer, one in a cabinet, and so on. until i forgot where i put them.

the idea is that when we find money unexpectedly, there is a feeling of indescribable joy. and gain. and satisfaction. and that combination basically makes you happy, which in turn brings prosperity and longevity like the macdonalds burgers, only that you find money instead of paying. so now when i'm desperate for money, i search all the ang paos i can find in the house. and find money. so, join the finding-money-unexpectedly club today! call me for an appointment. i'll drop by your house to suggest potential ang pao-hiding locations, and then you can too derive joy from finding money! disclaimer: i bear no responsiblity for money that really disappears because of your brother/sister/dog/cat/hamster

well that's it for now. on a side note, happy 18th liwen!

on another side note, i'm need to get human traffic up. so i'll be in shamelessly-advertising mode for the next few days ie. my blog address will be in my msn name. you can do your part too!

ok that's it byebye.
