it's as complicated as you make it out to be

and the award goes to..

so, promos are finally over. it's been a hard 2 weeks, so i thought some awards need to be given out..

the arrgh-i-died award: physics
this was a no-brainer. midyears were definitely easier, and i was completely stumped by section b. i was sunk into near-depression. so the panel was unanimous in awarding this to physics.

the arrgh-i-died-again award: economics
i thought i was much better prepared than the midyears, but came out of the room feeling just as uneasy as 4 months ago. so i died again. ki was a close second, but i wasn't really expecting to perform, so what happened what i thought would happen.

the this-set-of-notes-is-killing-me award: superposition
super-what? nope, not even the chem topics came close to this. partly because i skipped the first superposition lecture, partly because i'm no genius, and partly because i think i nearly drove my brother nuts when he tried to explain it to me.

the cram-to-the-max award: maths
i hope the teachers don't see this, but i spent a grand total of 2 hours for all the maths topics. compare this to one full day for market structure, and it's not hard to see why the panel did not deliberate in awarding this to maths.

the i-didn't-study award: chinese
i just had this so that every subject would have a prize, or at least be mentioned. -.-but a subject is conspicuously missing here. no prizes for guessing what and why.

that's about it for the once-in-a-lifetime (i hope) promotionals awards. all award recepients are to collect their prizes by this week, or the prizes will be donated to a charity determined by the panel.

question of the day: who make up the panel anyway?
